Carrier FAQs
-
Yes. We pre-screen drivers based on your specific requirements, including experience, driving history, qualifications and other relevant hiring criteria. This means you spend less time sorting through leads and more time speaking with candidates who are a potential fit.
-
Yes. We can set up, audit, clean up and manage Driver Qualification Files for your drivers. This can be provided as a standalone service or combined with driver placement.
-
Yes. Tell us your minimum, and we recruit to it. We won’t send a six-month driver to a twelve-month carrier and leave you to find out later.
If your minimum is the thing costing you seats, that’s a conversation worth having with your insurance agent, and we’ll sit in on it.
-
Yes, and it’s better to say that clearly upfront than discover it later. A motor carrier is responsible for the actions of its service agents.
We do the work, but you remain the employer. You keep the file and maintain control. Anything we prepare is yours to review before it counts for anything.
-
Yes. We work with SAP return-to-duty and the follow-up testing schedules that come with it, drivers with something on their MVR, and special freight and DOT freight.
That’s work we take on intentionally, and it’s a big part of why carriers call us instead of simply posting the position again.
-
No, and you shouldn’t have to take our word for it. A non-solicitation clause covering placed drivers is included in the agreement.
-
Absolutely. Keep it. An ATS is where an application lands, not where a driver comes from. We work within whatever system you already use.
-
We need to know the seats you’re filling and what they pay, your home-time cadence, your experience and insurance minimums, and who on your team will answer the phone when a driver is ready.
Driver FAQs
-
We explain home time as a cadence: out two to three weeks, out three or four nights, home daily, and so on.
If a posting says “frequent home time” but the actual schedule includes two layovers a week, we’ll tell you what that really means before you move forward.
-
Nothing. Carriers pay us to fill the seat and help keep it filled. That second part matters because we have no reason to push you into a position you’ll want to leave six weeks later.
-
We ask for your CDL front and back, DOT medical card, and work history.
We do not ask for your Social Security card, a photo of your ID, or a password to anything. If someone claims to be HolyRecruit and asks for those things, it isn’t us. Hang up and call us directly using the number on our website.
-
You’ll hear from us either way. If another driver fills the seat while you’re still in the process, we’ll tell you that day rather than leave you wondering.
Having to chase someone down for a status update is exactly what we’re trying to make unnecessary.
-
It depends on what happened and when. A failed test with a completed SAP program and active follow-up testing schedule can be workable, even though it’s the kind of file many recruiters automatically decline.
Tell us the truth on the first call. We can work around a problem we know about.
-
That’s exactly the kind of situation we’re built for.
At zero months, the big fleets may be the only doors open because other carriers can’t insure you. At three clean months, doors that were closed can start to open. At twelve months, even more opportunities become available.
Most drivers don’t realize that their experience and record have changed what they can qualify for. We’ll help you understand what options are actually available now.
-
No. Most of the drivers we place are still driving when we start working with them.
-
It depends on the seat and how quickly the carrier moves, which is the part neither of us controls. What we can control is communication, so we’ll keep you updated on where things stand.
-
A job posting can bring in two hundred applications and only six people who answer the phone. We handle the screening and paperwork so the carrier gets a qualified driver and a file that holds up.
-
More than if you leave. That’s deliberate. Our model works better when the placement works for both you and the carrier.
